The novel coronavirus and the practice of social distancing is changing the way citizens are grieving and dying. It is also impacting Law Enforcement's ability to provide traditional death notifications. This session will discuss best practices for delivering death notifications during a national crisis, including strategies for communicating compassion while also protecting officer safety, health and emotional well-being.
