Help the Police Foundation through Ebay for Charity
Updated On: Dec 15, 2016

Dear Law Enforcement Supporter,

I am writing to you to tell you about how you can provide a donation to the Colorado Police Officers Foundation by doing something that you are already doing…shopping. It’s very simple to donate to the Foundation through the EBay for Charity program. You may already be familiar with this program and you may already be donating to other charities through your EBay sales or purchases. If you are that’s great, except that we are asking you to begin donating to the Colorado Police Officers Foundation through your EBay sales and purchases so that you can show your support for the men and women of law enforcement and their families.

If you are not currently using EBay for Charity, then we are asking you to begin during this holiday season and support the men and women of law enforcement and their families. The donations from your online shopping or selling through EBay for Charity will go to fund programs that will help officers suffering with PTSD, programs that help to protect children, assist the families of fallen officers, as well as programs that assist officers who are disabled or in need of emotional counseling and therapy.

The Colorado Police Officers Foundation was created by the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police to have a way to assist law enforcement through a 501(C) 3 charitable organization. We need your help to continue to do the work that no one else is doing for law enforcement officers. The information below will explain how you can begin donating to the Colorado Police Officers Foundation through the EBay for Charity program.

You can access the Foundation’s EBay for Charity by going directly through our Ebay for Charity page at: http://charity.ebay.com/charity-auctions/charity/colorado-police-officers-foundation/215043/

Or by going to the Colorado Police Officers Foundation website at: http://www.coloradopolicefoundation.org/donate  On our Foundation website's "Donate" page you will find the EBay for Charity link.  Thank you for your support as always.

Sincerely,

Frank Gale, - Executive Director - Colorado Police Officers Foundation

EBAY for Charity

Helping people support great causes. Through eBay for Charity you can support the causes that matter most - to you - by buying and selling on eBay. We help nonprofits connect to over 145 million eBay community members to raise money.

Integrated into eBay's regular buying and selling platform, eBay for Charity makes it easy for people to support important causes, both in the U.S. and abroad. It enables sellers to donate a portion of their sales and buyers to shop while supporting their favorite charities — all the while giving nonprofits an opportunity to engage new supporters.

Shop for a Good Cause – The Police Foundation

When you shop eBay's Charity Shop you have the unique opportunity to buy items and experiences that are hard to find elsewhere. Score the same designer outfit worn on your favorite TV show or purchase a guitar played by a famous musician. Get a chance to bid on exclusive vacation packages or purchase collectibles and memorabilia from top brands and designers, all while supporting the Colorado Police Officers Foundation. With the eBay Charity Shop, supporting the Foundation has never been easier.

eBay for Charity – The Police Foundation

eBay for Charity gives sellers, buyers and charities an opportunity to connect and do good. Consumers can support the Colorado Police Officers Foundation while buying and selling, and nonprofits can connect directly to consumers to raise funds for their organizations. Sellers can donate a portion of their proceeds to the Foundation, while buyers can purchase items sold directly by top nonprofit agencies who use the proceeds to support their work.
